WORKSHOP: Classified! – write a piece inspired by one of the ads in the classified section of a newspaper (supplied on the night).

CRITICS NIGHT: Describe a scene/event through your character’s eyes not your own, so it tells the reader something about the character too.

WORKSHOP: In the Style of: write a short passage on a given theme each person drawing out a different style e.g. newspaper, gothic, romance, teen magazine etc

15 July

WORKSHOP: One small change –e.g. Boy and girl at sunset on Dartmoor/Girl alone at sunset on Dartmoor –write 2 short accounts with just one small change in your characters/setting/time that changes the mood and atmosphere of your tale

SOCIAL EVENING/Summer meal: Location to be arranged

WORKSHOP: Sinful: write a poem/prose  based on at least 1 of the seven deadly sins (pride, envy, gluttony, lust, greed, anger, sloth)
